HIBERNATION VI by Øystein Aspelund

Terça-feira, 05 de Janeiro del 2021
Oystein Aspelund is a Norwegian photographer whose work oscillates between analog and digital photography. According to his profile on his website:

I aim to always have a kind of cultural presence in my photographs. I am fascinated by the contrast between nature and culture, and I seek to have a representation of this relationship in most of my projects.

This project, HIBERNATION VI, is an exploration of the relationship between the human, the landscape, and the gray line between reality and fiction.

Each photograph in the series captures a moment where a mundane shot opens the door to the narrative of our subconscious world around our reality and our references to the "dark."
