Maria Svarbova, is a Slovak photographer with several awards and mentions in publications such as Vogue, Forbes, The Guardian, among others around the world. Her style diverges from traditional portrait photography by focusing on experimentation with space, color, and atmosphere.

Maria takes a special interest in Socialist architecture with its public spaces immersed in a feeling of timeless fiction. This series, Pool 2020, explores a space with a pool, a team of swimmers and elements such as tiles and decorative flags centered with the reflection of the water adding a very special touch to the photographic composition.
